The legal version of these terms will accompany the apps at launch. Until then, this page says what we intend to hold ourselves — and you — to.
aMemory is a personal memory keeper: apps for iPhone, iPad and Mac, an optional paid cloud, and a Librarian that keeps memories for you. It is a wellness and life-keeping product — it is not a medical device and doesn’t claim to treat anything.
Everything you keep in aMemory belongs to you. We claim no ownership of your memories, photos or recordings. We only handle them to run the service, as described in our privacy promise.
Paid tiers include stated allowances — storage space and voice minutes — and we state them plainly on the pricing page. Fair-use limits exist so one account can’t degrade the service for everyone else; hitting one pauses things politely rather than billing you by surprise.
Sharing a memory publishes a snapshot to the person or people you chose. You’re responsible for what you share, and you must have the right to share it. Don’t use shared memories to publish content that is illegal, that harasses or endangers someone, or that isn’t yours to publish.

A person reviews every report. Content that breaks these terms comes down; where the law requires more (including copyright takedown requests and reports involving the safety of minors), we follow it and cooperate with the proper authorities.
Copyright (DMCA) notices: our designated agent, registered with the U.S. Copyright Office, is our Copyright Agent, reachable at report@amemory.co. Takedown notices should include the copyrighted work, the shared page link, your contact information, and a good-faith statement as described in 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3). Reported material is removed or disabled promptly, and repeat infringers lose sharing.
You can stop using aMemory anytime, cancel a subscription anytime in your Apple subscription settings, and export every memory before you go — on every tier. If we ever had to close an account for breaking these terms, export still comes first wherever the law allows.
